jöma MACH I (Pat. pending) High performance finger jointing line
for the solid wood sector, BSH- (gluelam), KVH- (solid construction timber),
Duolam- and Triolam production.

Heart of the unit is the central milling and gluing automate with feeding and discharging
mechanisation for packet widths from 1 single piece up to max. 1100 mm.
Central milling in the “standard version” exists for more than 20 years and has amongst others
the advantage, that the timber is at rest and the machine is moving.
The timber manipulation is easier, it’s possible to have higher speeds.
Our new development is in the area of the milling mechanisation based on the mature technology
of the central miller.The timber feeding takes place by means of a novel packet shuttle with higher

The transport of in the packet assembly aligned timber packets is absolute precise, in
such a way that the previous but error-prone aligning at the “shaking” stop in the miller,
is obsolete. Additionally the packet is, while passing through to the 2nd milling operation,
simultaneous aligned to the opposite timber edge.

Thus the milling capacity makes a quantum leap upwards and at the same time this
increases substantially the operational reliability.

Together with the new developments in the clamping stations and the transfer duct on
the milling carriage, jöma MACH I possesses the following, groundbreaking advantages:

High number of cycles.
Together with the 1100 mm milling duct at 45 mm timber thickness this results
in a technical running meters capacity of approx. 150 running meters/min
● Extremely robust and reliable material transport
● Minimum use of accident-sensitive transport rollers,
flaps + cross conveyor sections and thus a high availability of the unit
● Suitable for all cross sections including square
● In extreme cases a single milling is possible, by means of fully automatic
continuous duct adaptation. This makes the unit extremely flexible.

The press concept after the miller consists of cycle presses
Cycle presses have, compared to other systems following advantages:

● Absolutely reliable pressing
- Almost no timber bursts as e.g. with extrusion- and front side presses
- Finger misalignment in width and height almost excluded
● High flexibility by short set-up times
● Unbeatable high availability
● Improval of the performance possible by adding further presses

A newly developped press feeding system (Pat. pending)
alllows this
● Extremely fast and reliable evacuation of the finished milled and glued planks
behind the milling automate towards the presses
